What is Google Checkout?
Google Checkout allows customers to purchase from multiple online retailers with their Google account.


ShopVisible now has full Level 2 integration with Google Checkout. This means you can use coupons, promotion codes, accept partial orders, transfer tax and shipping rates to Google and so much more.

For You

• Have shipping rates automatically transfer between your store and Google, this function is designed to prevent shipping fraud from unscrupulous individuals.
• Get live updates from Google delivered directly to your order reports as the transaction is processed.
• Be secure in knowing that Google verifies all of your customer's information, letting you concentrate on selling instead of worrying about fraud.
• If you use Google AdWords you can process $10 for every $1 you spend on Google AdWords. So if you spend $10 on your Google AdWords campaign you get $100 worth of free transactions. If you do not use Google AdWords every transaction costs 2% of the transaction cost plus an additional $0.20 transaction fee.

For Your Customers

• Customers can use their Google accounts to manage purchases. And have access to all of their information on both you website as well as Google.
• Customers feel more comfortable knowing their credit card information is protected by Google.

Google Checkout in the Shopping Cart

• After choosing the items they wish to purchase a customer will then proceed to the shopping cart.
• In the shopping cart they enter their zip code for live shipping rate quotes.
• The customer is then free to choose a number of payment options including Google Checkout.

Google Checkout Opens

• The customer will be prompted to log in to their Google account.
• Customers may already have a Google account if they have used any Google Service such as Gmail, or iGoogle.

Google Account Creation

• A Google Account will be created for your customers as they complete the checkout process, there is no need to navigate to a different page.
• Google Checkout then calls the server and returns shipping information based on your site.
• If a customer changes their zip code in Google, Google automatically queries your store to get updated shipping rates. This prevents shipping fraud.

Order Data is Sent to Your Store

• Google sends all order information to the ShopVisible Site Manager including payment confirmation and shipping details.
• Use the ShopVisible Site Manager to view your orders, orders from Google Checkout are marked.
• If a customer changes their zip code in Google, Google automatically queries your store to get updated shipping rates. This prevents shipping fraud.

Order Data is Sent to Your Store

• Get live updates from Google as Google authorizes and confirms payment.
• Any changes you make to the order will automatically be sent to Google.
• Once Google gives you payment confirmation you may ship the product to the customer knowing that money has been received and the address confirmed.
• A customer can check their order status on your site or on their Google Account
